There is a Knowledge Base on Chiefarchitect.com, located under the tab labeled Support.  Just type a question into the search bar and all of the info in articles, videos, chieftalk discussions will come up for you.  Here is one of the articles.  There are also a number of discussions on ChiefTalk about this subject.

Export as DWG

  • Click File > Export > Export Current View (DWG, DXF).

  • Choose AutoCAD DWG format.

  • Set the correct scale and ensure "Export all floors" is unchecked (so only the current floor is saved).

  • Save the file with an appropriate name (e.g., Floor1.dwg, Floor2.dwg, etc.).

       Repeat for Each Floor Level

  • Navigate to each floor and repeat the export process to create four separate DWG files (one per floor)
