CADesign
Hello, I am trying to create a plan view to show tile pattern and orientation. I know that the Fill style will show the pattern of the tile perfectly but the problem is the library for the fill styles doesn't have the one I need (Penny tile). I created a pattern and uploaded into the materials but materials only show in 3D view. Does anyone know how to create your own fill style? or another way to have my custom tile pattern show up in my plan view. Thank you! I forgot to add that I am using Home Designer Pro 2025
DBCooper
Not sure what all HD Pro can do compared to Premier. Might want to check out the hometalk forum here: https://hometalk.chiefarchitect.com/ In Premier, you could just create a closed polyline and then set the fill style to your tile pattern. You can also do this for things that already show up in a plan view like counter tops and rooms. You could also create a top down floor overview which would show you all of your materials. Not sure which look you want but you might want to try these.
