I'm having a hard time making this straight-flared driveway cut the curb. Do you have any ideas on how to go about doing it? I tried different ways. Chief only creates curved flares. I did this with a polyline and converted it to a road, but it doesn't cut the curb as expected. Need some help or ideas on how to do it. THX.

You could try removing the curbs from the road and converting CAD lines into mouldings. I made mouldings and put them into my library. Mouldings allow you to mess around with the height and widths as well as the offsets. It's fairly easy to have a proper looking driveway entrance. With a little more fiddling around, I'm sure the sloped cutaway could be achieved, maybe a 3D solid??

I would not begin to know what kind of work around you would use in Chief to make it, in most modeling softwares you would use a tool for massing called a sweeping blend.  This kind of tool would allow a solid with two distinct shapes.  Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, Rhino, Fusion 360 (has a free version). Then import into chief.   Attached is a driveway apron with various file types that can be imported into Chief and a few that cannot.   Driveway Apron.zip
