chrishaig
I changed in Default Settings -> Dimensions, 1:50 dimensions and 1:25 dimensions to use m (meters). If I click on a temp. dimension to change for example the length of a wall, I have to add the "m" every single time. I would like "m" to be the default unit. So if I write "5" it results in a 5m wall. Right now if I have something like this click on "5.5m" and just write "5", it results in a 5mm wall, not 5m. I don't know where to change this, or if it is possible at all.
AsPlanned
You also need to change the current number style to display in m.
DBCooper
I think Anders is right. If you change the "number style", then you can type in dimensions using the units it is set to. I thought it only worked for dialog boxes but it looks like it also affects the various places where you can type in the dimensions in plan views. Keep in mind that it is only temporary so the next time you start the program you will have to reset it. Also, not sure why you want to work with angle snaps off but this can lead to problems with walls that might be slightly off angle. And it looks like those other symbols are telling you that you have a short unconnected wall that you might not want.
