LotzCC
I have a retaining wall that passes under a deck stair landing. When displayed in the plan view, the retaining wall shows on top of the landing. See attached plan file and image. In another part of the stairs, I you will see another retaining wall that passes under a run of stairs, but does display correctly with the retaining under. Is there a way to get all retaining walls to display under the stairs and landings? Also, automatic breaks are created in the retaining wall where it passes under the landings. Anyway to over ride this? Deck 1.1.2.zip
MarkMc
Deleted the walls that made that a room, kept the framing. Added a landing, removed railings and moved it down. and update your signature since that plan wanted to open in X16
LotzCC
Thanks Mark. So the key is to make it a stair landing and not a deck level?
MarkMc
Yes, making it a room will get you framing so do that first, turn off auto frame, then make landing. The texture you used for the decks is missing so couldn't get that on there but may need another. If you want the doubles on the sides that would take Psolids I think. An alternative might be to break the retaining wall, reverse that section, break again & reverse. Then change the fill for the section under that deck to none.
