Ext. Privacy Wall Using Railing, Won't Hide Mid Support Posts

Good day,

I've created a privacy wall for a hot tub area using the railing tool.

It is needed to have the wall off the ground, and a mid support post within the wall showing at the exposed area.

Might there be a way to have the post to be coved both sides with the siding?

I am currently not figuring that out.

Thanks so much !!

I couldn't find a way to have this work automatically.  I am assuming that you are using "panels" as your railing style.  When you have rails and you set them up so that they are offset or the newel posts are offset so that they will miss the post, the program will automatically make them go through.  It looks like it won't do this with the panels. I was only able to get the panel to go through if I manually moved the post completely outside of the railing.

I would just set the post spacing big enough to get rid of the middle post and put it in manually.

Yes to all the questions - I can go with that if I can not figure out something else.

Thank you for taking the time.

Have a great day!  - Drew
