Drew-PRH
Good day folks! When I have the cabinets made for a specific project, I just specify my needs and they are done. Is the a way for CA to display or show this..... How can the bottom of an upper cabinet be moved up 1-1/4" into the cabinet? With the door fronts maintaining their specified height, not moving up with the cabinet bottom. This would in effect give the upper cabinet an area below to 'mount' a physical light bar with electrical plug. I know this may not work for every situation, however for this one, let's run with that. Yes LED tape could be applied to the underside of the cabinets. For this task, we are looking to 'mount' from the underside for electrical also as an all-in-one bar. Keeping in mind the cabinet door will give the look of going to the bottom of the upper. And when you open the cabinet door, you will then see the raised bottom and the horizontal molding piece covering the open gap to the underside. Thanks for you insight if this can be accomplished. I've not tried yet in 16. - Drew
Solution MarkMc Posted October 14 Solution Share Posted October 14 Don't need X16 this has worked for years. Box Construction, Full Overlay. Set the bottom separation equal to depth desired + 3/4" (in this case 2") and do NOT alter the reveal from default
