Simpsonks
I am new user user x16. I am running through the quick start tutorials and am currently going through the "editing walls" video. I am having issues with my exterior walls changing to match what I have defined. I have set a new wall type just like the video states. - Changed the siding color from default to blue - Changed the fill of the the siding to shaker - Changed the fill of the main layer to shaker - hit OK When the wall type definition window is open the drawing is showing correct, I click OK and go back to the Wall Specification window and the model is only updating the color of the siding to blue, but not adding the shaker style siding? When I look on my working plan view, the shaker style siding is showing, but when I go to 3D camera view I just had the default siding that is blue. I am going to assume I am missing something very obvious, however, I cannot figure out what that is. Thanks, Scotty
mtldesigns
@Simpsonks I am trying to grasp what your describing here... You didn't use the paint brush did ya? Sometimes that messes things up too. In the Wall DBX go down to the "MATERIAL" tab, and see if the exterior and interior wall matches what you set in the wall types.
