Standard Elevation View Rendering Technique

Hello, does anyone know a way to make my default elevation rendering technique to be 'Standard' with the 'hand drawn lines on top' box checked?  I've attached a snip of the settings I would like to make my default whenever I create a new elevation.

 

When I click the wrench to set this as my default elevation, it will make my default rendering technique 'Standard', but I am unable to keep the 'Hand drawn lines on top' box checked.

 

I appreciate any help on this!

Try going to "default settings", then "3d view defaults", and then "rendering techniques".

 

This will change it for all views using standard though, not just elevations.  I don't know if there is a way to just change the default for elevations but I couldn't find one.

Thanks @DBCooper, that's a big help.  I wish you could specify that different setting for elevations vs 3D views, but this will still be a help in my drawing set up process.  Thanks!
