RobUSMC Posted July 28 Share Posted July 28 I'm adding an addition to the back of my home. Due to a larger sloping backyard it will be a pier and beam construction. I will either use sonotubes or just form my own corner footers. I will have a Simpson post bracket on top of the footer with and 8x8 wood post. Will notch the post 1-3/4" for a LVL perimeter rim joist then 2 x 12 @ 16" OC, 1.25" Advantech T&G subfloor. Does anyone have an editable CAD block with this or similar construction.
