Elements from the lower floor is not appearing in the plot plan

Hi

I am trying to create a site plan view. The residence has two floors. The driveway is at the upper level (Level 1)and the backyard is at the lower level(Level 0). I have attached the plans. Interior layout is not drawn in detail.(not needed). This was drawn by someone else and I have been using CA for a month.

There are two decks connected with a staircase. Lower deck is larger than the upper deck. The stair is not visible and neither is the lower deck (because the plot plan view is at level 1). The stair case is visible only when I go to level 0. But for a site plan(birds eye view), I need to show part of the lower deck and the stair. How do you do that?

You should use reference layers to see anything not on the current floor, go to chief's website and watch the videos
