Drew-PRH Posted February 26 Share Posted February 26 Good day, I've searched the forum prior to post and can not locate conversation regarding a - Surface Mount Kitchen Counter Receptacle. The Pop-Up type - see image. In October of 2023 an electrical code had been changed. Now on islands you need to have a Surface Mount Kitchen Counter Receptacle, instead of one mounted to the side of a base cabinet. At the moment, it does not matter if some can still install a receptacle into the side of a base cabinet, I am curious as to if there are Surface Mount Kitchen Counter Receptacle?
