Is there a way to edit an existing Library object?

For example, I'm looking for a specific cabinet door style (attached) but can't find anything similar in the existing Library, so I'd like to be able to adjust the rails and styles on simple Shaker cabinet panle if possible.. I'm on X14. If I can't edit and existing object, how do I create one from scratch?

Nope, they're 3D objects just like chairs and tables and such.
