Walkthrough camera jumping between key frames

Does anyone know how to prevent the camera from jumping into key frames?

I added many key frames to the spline when it changed directions and ascended the topography in order to prevent

the camera from swinging widely in the opposite direction. (See image).

Each key frame in question is set at the same speed (from KF 23 to 45).

I've noticed the issue of camera jumping to key frames when there is a change in camera speed or orientation, but in this case

the speed is the same throughout and camera orientation isn't drastically different from the surround cameras.

Any suggestions?

Reduce that to keyframe 23/36 or 37 and 46. That will probably be better. Without being able to control a curve editor for the camera (real digital film term) I put as few keyframes on a walkthrough as possible. Generally, I don't have more than 2 on each curve I place and only use simple arcs. If you need to show a distinct path, I would do two camera passes and fade them together in a video editor with a focused still cut between them to give the film a reason for the cut.
