Good day,

Working on creating a Privacy Wall 5' high with post legs at the bottom essentially lifting the privacy wall up 6" off grade.

Going through the "Railing Specs", I can not seem to extend the post (newel) legs below the wall.

Might there be a way to do this?  Or should it be created another way?

Here is what was done:

  Railing Specs:

     General)  Railing

     Wall Type)  Interior Railing

     Wall Cap)  8-1/2 x 1-1/2

Rail Style)  Specify Railing - Solid

                       Newels/Posts - Post to Rail

     Newels/Balusters)  Railing Height - 60"

                                    Newel/Posts Width - 5-1/2"

                                    Spacing - 60"

                                    Type - Square

Thanks so much in advance!

I'd create rails on Floor 0 aligned with these privacy walls, Rail Style: open, Post to Ceiling, remove Top & Bottom rail

Then on Floor 1 make sure that area is an enclosed room with a Room divider as the opening, room is Open Below, no Roof, etc. The rooms Floor can dictate how high the wall starts.
