Tie in shed roof to hip

A client wants to add a 38' x 13'-4" addition to the back of their home. I'm having trouble adjusting the roof options of the exterior walls so I can tie the shed roof into the 8/12 hip roof. I've watched several videos and cannot seem to get the shed roof to tie in. I've had success before with a gable addition, but this is not working. Any help is appreciated. 56930191_Untitled10.thumb.jpg.f52e96808c089a9f670c6f28515e1228.jpg

With the width of the addition, it will only work with a really shallow pitch like 2/12, which is really low.

At any rate, the method is to make the two short walls gable walls, then adjust the roof pitch in the long wall DBX. The shed plane will have to end before it reaches the hip ridge of the end walls of the house.
