JKEdmo
Good morning, I often draw cad lines at door openings to show a finish flooring change. Is there a way to snap to the midpoint of the door jamb casing to accurately place the line? I'm finding no, but maybe I'm overlooking something. Thanks, Jim
Bob-Roraback
Jim, I believe that you can snap to the center point of the label. If the label is set to have no offset you are at the center of the door jamb.

I was wondering if you can snap to the midpoint of the door jambs themselves in plan, but it appears no. I guess I'll have to eyeball it. JKEdmo
Thanks, I figured out the technique. Snap to center of wall then pull line ends to each jamb edge. Seems to work well. Jim
