Chief Architext Premier X13.

I am an interior designer doing a kitchen remodel and only drawing this room.  I am struggling to draw a curved ceiling and tray ceiling as shown in the attached picture.  I thought I did it correctly but when I try to put wood paneling on the curved ceiling only, the whole ceiling changes to wood and that is not what I want.  Any suggestions on how to draw the curved ceiling would be appreciated.  I have search Q&A here and the help videos.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Everyone here appreciates it when new members complete their signature with some basic info including their version of Chief. Makes it easy to locate, always available, and gets you the best answers.

You can add that info, and more like Windows or Mac computer to your signature by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left.

Thanks

Thank you. I have changed my signature.

Is your question about drawing the ceiling, or applying a material to it?

My question is really more about how to draw the curved ceiling.  Once I figure that out, I think I can figure out the application of materials. Thank you

Chief has many short tutorials in the KnowledgeBase ( KB ) and there is one on Barrel Vaults, so that maybe a good point to start........

there are several Videos too under Ceilings....

As for Tray Ceilings if you are using Invisible Walls as maybe needed I think from looking at your Pic it is usually best to use the Old Polyline Solid Method vs Chief's Automatic Trey Ceilings which do not play well with Invisible Walls.
