JustinW Posted July 5, 2022 Share Posted July 5, 2022 I am using Chief X14 and I am trying to create a ceiling plane within a floor truss. I have a 24" floor truss and then I want a tray ceiling to be recessed into that floor truss 8". When I use the tray ceiling tool and click recess into ceiling, it comes up with an error. Joe_Carrick Posted July 5, 2022 Share Posted July 5, 2022 What's the error? I would suspect that you might need to reverse the process. ie: Create the Tray Ceiling before creating the Trusses. OTOH, you might have to a have a Ceiling Structure below the Floor Structure. I don't think a "Tray Ceiling" can recess into the "Floor Structure" above.
