Molding Polyline At Doors Or Walls Not Wanted

I never realized this,  CA tries to compensate for our ignorance,  but the room molding does build to finish floor.......  HOWEVER.....  when you first create the molding,  you have the option to give it a <-2"> elevation,  and that is when the molding shape follows the CENTER OF THE WALL and not the WALL FINISH.

 

Just some more useless information I found out.
