Unwanted floors added to whole building when trying to add floors to addition only.

Hi; I can't remember this ever happening before. I draw an addition off the ground level of an existing one story building and when I try to add an upper floor to it, CA adds a floor to the old building as well.

Is there a setting issue?

I would recommend you look closer at the two options that pop up when you select add a floor.

I see 11 different options (I use X-13 on a PC).

You must mean options once I choose "Build New Floor". What should I be looking for?

BTW, I can't seem to get the Program to accept the jpg of my signature.
