dhurst Posted August 13, 2021 Share Posted August 13, 2021 Could someone tell me how I shade a floor plan. I'm being asked to shade all the areas of a floor plan that are not being altered. I've created a polyline solid, filled the polyline, set a layer, set the color that I want, and selected the transparency. I do not want to print in color or grayscale. Chopsaw Posted August 13, 2021 Share Posted August 13, 2021 You don't really need to use a polyline solid for 2D shading. Rooms have Fill Styles or you can simply use a polyline. No I don't believe you can have anything other than black shading when printing in Black and White. You would be limited to hatching patterns.
