badbiddy
Hello, I am rather new to Chief Architect (X10). I have just started some designing of my current house and working on a deck addition to supply for the permit process. I have attached the plan here - I have looked at the following items: Viewing the "Framing Layer Set" Verified the building material of the floor joists (CA-B Pressure Treated Lumber) Validated the Layer Display Options - Framing, Deck Framing (Disp) is enabled Please don't judge the overall plans - it is all a work in progress (primary concern is the deck for a permit approval). Any insight would be greatly appreciated! home_design.plan

DougDM
Should be an option as to what floor the framing shows on.

DougDM
What ever that means. It can be done with Roof Planes...so why not with framing, other than using the Reference Layer Set
