bkennedy74
I have gone through the tutorial to create new materials based on existing. I have the subway tile that I copied and added to my user catalogue, I changed the 'line' colour to black to simulate black grout, but when I apply it to the material in the shower it doesnt' change, nor does it change in my user catalogue. I am having the same issue with the hexagon tile but with the size, I wanted the hexagons to be bigger. Any ideas?
bkennedy74
@Solver not helpful. I know the difference between them, so maybe I should just be more clear. I duplicated the 'materials' subway which is under the 'materials/tiles' section of the core objects. Duplicated this 'material' and put it in my user catalogue. I edited the 'material' which showed line colour as gray, which is what the original material is. I changed that to black which you can see in the screenshot. then when I applied this 'material' to my wall, it didn't come up with the black weighted line. Ridge_Runner
Your first screenshot shows you are in the "pattern" area. Changing the line color there will not change it in the "texture" area. The material itself must be changed in the texture section to show for standard/PBR type views.
