Flat Soffits under Boxed Eave reverting to roof slope after joining with another roof plane

Recommended Posts

I have two roof planes which should both have flat soffits under the Eave Sub Fascia which work just fine when the roof planes aren't joined, but as soon as I join the roof planes the soffits on Roof Plane 'A' revert to angled, even when the 'Flat Under Eave Sub Fascia' check box is selected. Is there a way to fix this issue?

One of the baselines was off and a few off angles in the roofs. Easy to take the roof that was functioning, duplicate it and then reflect about the hip.

Before drawing manual roof planes, it's best to set your defaults for roofs and rooms so the roof planes draw correctly.

Here is a video that may help: https://youtu.be/03156Um5rjc
