LAYOUT BOX LABELS

I KNOW HOW TO CHANGE THE GLOBAL AND OBJECT SPECIFIC INFO FOR ONE LAYOUT BOX.
HOW DO YOU, FOR EXAMPLE, LIST NAME, SCALE, FILENAME.
FOR ALL LO BOX LABELS IN ONE LAYOUT FILE?

Select one layout box and then use your Match Properties tool to choose the Layout Box Borders layer and it will select all of the layout boxes so that you can have all the labels the same.

TRIED THIS, BUT

"ITEMS WITH A * " ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE

LIKE AUTO NAME, SCALE, FILENAME, LAYER SET

 

STILL WONDERING HOW TO ADD ALL THESE TO ALL LAYOUT BOX LABELS

IT DOES WORK FOR OTHER PROPERTIES, BUT JUST ONE BOX LABEL AT A TIME, NOT ALL IN THE ENTIRE FILE.

Not sure that the properties can be applied but there should not be and issue with opening the DBX  (Dialogue Box) to the label tab and editing that to what you need it to be.

 

P.S.  for future reference, ALL CAPS are generally not welcomed on this forum.

thanks for the note, as an architect for 30 years, i always have my all-caps on - my mistake.

i actually have a note to customers. when you type on a plan, and then and email, and realize half way through the email that you all-caps is on.
