Core Floor in part of Garage

I want part of the garage to have a core floor, the other area will be 4" concrete, 8" on the core floor.  I created a separate area for that core floor but when I change the settings to what I want it changes the other part of the garage as well.    Suppose a guy could just do the whole garage as core.

 

Core floor area is 8" concrete, 8' walls

Rest of garage - 4" concrete, 48" walls

 

How do I go about having 2 areas with different floor settings?  I've got 2 areas defined with an invisible wall.  Like I said I just want 2 different settings for the areas.
