mikes616 Posted May 17, 2018 Share Posted May 17, 2018 For some reason the foundation overall dimensions are different from the first floor overall dimensions. It's showing that both walls are aligned with no "align" symbol. It looks like the first floor walls are dimensioned to the outside of the studs. I can't figure out why they don't line up. X10 user. rlackore Posted May 17, 2018 Share Posted May 17, 2018 Cut a section and examine how the framed wall aligns with the foundation wall, e.g. face-of-stud to face-of-concrete, or face-of-sheathing to face-of-concrete, etc. Then check the Dimension to Exterior of Layer setting in the Wall Type Definitions dialog box (dbx) for both walls. Perhaps the framed wall isn't set to dimension to the layer you expect. Also check the Dimension Defaults>Locate Objects>Walls setting. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
