RobUSMC Posted January 16, 2018 Share Posted January 16, 2018 I have attached a screen print that explains my question. Any help would be appreciated. Unlike new construction where dimensions can be to center of walls, with remodeling we work with existing interior and exterior walls. I've struggled on tweaking settings to give me interior dimensions from a finished drywall to drywall surface and having exterior dimensions reference outside corners to outside corners of the walls whether brick or siding. There are times when an existing interior wall will remain untouched and we add a new interior wall and I usually not the dimension is from the drywall of the existing wall to the framing of the new wall.
