ACADuser
How do you keep up with current catalogs? With an SSA doesn't Chief check to see if you have the latest catalogs? How do you know if your catalog is not current? If you download a catalog does it overwrite duplicate items or does it make a copy?? Or does it ignore duplicate items? Dennis_Gavin
Alan - . One caution. It will install the latest catalogue from the manufacturers. So if you have plans that have an older item no longer available it will be lost.
ACADuser
Oh, that is a good tip. Thanks Dennis.
Dennis_Gavin
Alan - as a preventive measure before updating libraries you can create a plan materials library for any plan via the 3D, materials, plan materials menu. I have only experiences the loss once and if I remember correctly it was for a tile material. I managed to get it back thanks to another forum member who had the older library. ACADuser
That's good info. I have reused plans for other lots but can't imagine anything that could not be replaced. i.e. not that critical.
