Dennis_Gavin
I have done it for a deck. Got the lights from 3D wharehouse and placed them manually. Been a few years'
DavidJPotter
Yes. but if you use .skp files then you also have to place an "added light source" so that object will also emit light in renderings (Chief lighting objects already have a light source built into them, symbols made by other may or may not have a light source built in). I have made poly-line solid objects and just assigned a 100% "emmisive" setting to the material assigned to them to create the apparency of a light source as well. Dennis_Gavin
David - you just import it and set it as an electrical item, light, switched. Set lighting in the DBX. NO need for added light source. I have done this for range hoods as well so I get a down light over the stove from the hood.
