HamlinBC Posted June 23, 2014 Share Posted June 23, 2014 I have a homeowner that wants 6" casing on the outside and 4" casing in between the windows. There are 3 windows in a row, with three transoms above totaling 6 windows in all. They're all separated with 3" of framing in between... So my exterior casing shows correctly with 6" around the windows, but only the vertical casing in between the windows show as 4". The horizontal is showing 6"... So I think to myself...ok...if I mull the windows, then it should fix the horizontal problem, and the vertical casing will still work... Well, when I mull the windows the horizontal gets fixed, but then the vertical turns into 6". Is there a setting or something I'm missing on how to get this to display correctly?...I just want 6" trim around with 4" between. It's not that complicated. The windows are all on the same floor...the casing is all specified the same...not really sure what the deal is. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kbird1 Posted June 24, 2014 Share Posted June 24, 2014 1st thought would be check...... Is you Minimum separation set to 4" on the Plan Defaults>Window>General tab ? Is "ignore Casing on resize" on ?
