I presume you mean a lamp consisting of many small lamps, this is difficult for Chief to do as the  large number of light sources tend to overwhelm Chiefs rendering capability. It is almost certainly better to give your LEDs a highly emmisive material, and then add a light source.  This idea has been tackled before, some ideas can be found on the old Chief forum, try searching under "rope lighting"

Rope lighting!  Thank you!  I knew I had seen information up there some time ago but LED wasn't coming up with anything useful as a search term and I couldn't think of any other words it was also known as.

The suggestions from the old forum looked more like for tray ceilings than cabinets, but using a molding line with a completely emissivity material will probably work fine for what I need.

Thanks again!
