Tried working with Room Planner. Too many short comings for me. Months back, I submitted my suggestions on making Room Planner workable. So far, none have been implemented. I have been using another program that works great. But it is expensive.

When I click a view in layout and hit "Relink File", "hahaPkwy.plan" comes up. Tried to relink to correct file, keeps coming back "hahaPkwy.plan".

Clicking a view in layout opens the plan ok here.
But, looks like two different plans are opening. Depends on which view I click on. One is "Floor Plan" and the other is " Floor Plan - 2". Different things on different pages of layout.

I tried it and definitely see a lag while zooming in and out on each layout page.
If I delete the existing & remodel plan views and your wall definitions on the layout page, the lag goes away.
Still looking.

I would think CA would have a category that worked with the terrain like a normal building.

I have two buildings in different plans that I want to show in a common plan.
When creating a symbol of one of the buildings, what "symbol Category" should it be created in.
On my first try, I used "Exterior Fixtures". Seemed to work OK.
What category works best?

I create a good as-built before I start working on the new design.

I have mine in a Cad Detail. This way if I want to change the plan scale or crop the plan view, I don't have to change the schedules.

Jared.
I'm using the exact same system as you. Been working good for many years.

It looks like that is an attic wall. Do you have the Walls, Attic layer turned on in that view.
