I see all 3 sections as "high shed" roof. Using auto roof requires trickery. Manual roof plane is easier.

The floor plan image is easy to replicate, so you should add your own touch to it.

Glad you liked it! I wouldn't advocate a 2 story exterior flight of stairs for senior citizens, either.

I wouldn't waste that precious attic space,either.

I couldn't resist this plan. I think dormer framing would take up precious floor space, so I would add it as a regular "room", and then add the false soffit/fascia, so it still has the "dormer" look.
