  1. Just figured the ceiling planes out Eric.

There were no ceiling plane defaults entered hence blank airspace. Not sure why these default changes have occurred but problem solved for now.

Thanks for your help.  It's greatly appreciated.

  2. All,

I need a little assistance with my soffit planes please.

As shown in the attached pic, the soffits seem to be floating and are separated from where they should be located.  I must have checked a box in the roof defaults but can't find the source.

Related, I think is the fact that in 3D viewing the ceilings planes are non-present also.  I'm assuming they are a related problem but maybe not.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help.

  3. Hello all.

I am having a very strange problem with the deck railing wall function.  As you can see in my screen capture the deck railing is 'cutting' the exterior wall surface material leaving a void.  This is where it get interesting:  It only does it where the LEFT deck railing meets a wall not on the RIGHT!

I have tried many things including rebuilding the walls, using the Edit Wall Intersection function, changing the lock wall function, etc.  I am scratching my head and don't understand what I'm missing or if this is a common glitch of the program.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks in advance

Picture on left shows problem.  Same railing on right, no problem?

  4. Hi.

If everyone else is still scared away from your offer, I would be open to discussing.

I agree that specifics and detailed contracts make this quite possible.  I do much of my designing ONLY from pictures that clients provide me.  Unless I'm missing something I'm not sure what people's hesitations are.

Anyway, let me know if you are still of need.

    Thanks much.
