i need to draw the eve with a flat soffit area instead of sloped and it needs to be the same height as the ceiling. any ideas? thanks in advance

i was wondering how to show dimension line labels automatically in x8. when i click on a dimension it shows wall line "1" and "2" but i need to specify what the numbers are or what the letters are and make them stay on the plan for plotting. can someone help me please Thank in advance Bruce

ok so i found a way around this, in the roof structure you can change it but not in the default settings would be nice to have it back in the default settings so you can save a step or two be declaring before hand what roof you be using

in x7 under the default tab you could change it to whatever material you wanted but in x8 that doesnt seem to be an option. i have the same boxes as shone on rlackore's post and that changes a lot but not the actual roof material. what am i missing

materials are in the library but there is no options for roof in the materials. i can change ridge cap just not roof

i am missing the roof materials in all of my menus and i can not set up default roof materials any suggestions on how to get it back

i wrote a detailed letter to chief including pictures on how to do that for bases and caps. same thing can happen with hangers hope this incorporate this
