About Me

I am a founding member of Sun Certified Builders Cooperative Limited, a coop contractor/builder specializing in High Performance Buildings in Manitoba. We have been using this software and it's free precursor since the late 1990's, but I am by no means an expert - a dabbler really. I use Chief now for basic permits drawings and to create geometry for energy modelling tools. The 3D framing is important as we have started to prefabricate components and walls offsite, so things have to be in the right spot!
