    I used SU to fix the issue with the layers not showing. 

     

    Modeling the door is fun to do in both Chief and SU, but I must admit, I love the speed SU does for models.

    Salt box or Gull wing roof

    The best way forward is to do both the roof planes, just like you did in the first picture. So they are centered on the house and windows. Then simply move back the front door side of the roof, and add a new roof over porch. Change its pitch to say 2 and then connect it to the house roof. As my awesome wife would say, "Va Va Va Voom Baby..!"

    I run across ALL TYPES - needing just a roof fixed in Chief Architect, to those who need to draw 200 condos or a private 25,000 sq. ft. estate.

     

    What I am looking for is a team of people I can call upon to handle the workload I am unable to do. Seeing is how money is like candy here in Southern California and everyone here is ready to spend, I can not keep up with my current workload. 

     

    So if you need work, and you know Chief Architect - then send me a request and some examples of work you have done...
