What do I send or export to an AutoCad user for him to do renderings of my plan. I'm using X-6.

When I click on icon...the screen flashes, but browser doesn't appear

It doesn't matter what I click...library, view,...it does not appear

I don't even see my library browser ...when I click on library icon..I get messages saying its up to date, but nothing appears

I can open other finished layouts and copy cad details ( I have done this on another computer) and send to user library as I need them...My problem is the CA Core Catalogue doesn't open when I click on icon.

I've reinstalled CA..and when I click on "install core library" I get message that it's all up to date...It's like the library is there but will not show on screen

I had major problems with my computer, had to get new drive and video card...everything is working OK except the library is missing..along with all my cad details..is this an easy fix

I'm in process to installing CA-6 on a new laptop. I purchased the CA-5/6 in 2014 .And downloaded from a " Digital Locker".to my PC. I know I can have it on several computer provided I deactivate the license when switching between computers.  My question is ..how do I load CA program unto the new laptop

Why is it that the living area is always on top on the dimension line..blocking the width of house..even if I move it ..it bounces  back..Is there a default where I can position this  and not have it interfere with the dimensions..This has been a continuous annoyance to me. Everytime I open the plan file the Living Area is covering a dimension.

Thanks guy...that's it...I've been using CA for 12 years and have done 1000's of plans and never come across this feature. I always place transoms windows while in elevation view.

I have everything at 1

Line weights is on...It's only windows and doors in plan view that are light grey

After all these years using CA..I'm still puzzled about line weights. I can't darken the doors and windows in plan view..hence they don't show in layout. I tried Layer Display Options and doesn't make any difference. 

I'm using X-6

When I click on my library browser to start placing fixtures etc the panes don't  appear on the screen.

I'm looking for a good , reliable laptop to buy for when I travel and want to work on plans..What size hard drive, ram etc...should I be looking

 at. I also want something easy to handle ( I use a 17" one now and its like carrying around another piece of luggage), I'm looking to spent $1000.00 Cn.

I've have a brain freeze...I've done it several times before but I can't remember how the copy a plan  and replicate it for several townhouses ( identical and 20' apart)

I've been retired for 12 years from house building and started playing with CA as a hobby and it has turned into a great home based business ..no stress, morning traffic , office politics, that's why no grey hair I guess. Anyway.I'm due for a new computer soon. I'll be on Talk looking for suggestions. Right how I stick with the server setup..I've had it for years

I have a stockpile of thousands of plans that I have developed over the last number of ears...these plans are very important to me as I'm a internet based business and I sell plans from my website. So I want them stored anywhere but on my PC. I use several external harddrives and have been using a server drive for more day to day work because it has a backup drive built into it. Recently, since upgrading to X-6, I've been having problems saving work...( see comments on this post ).. I'm open to suggestions...
