Hi.  Yes, I use Photoshop CC; Lightroom CC; AlienSkin Bokeh 2 and Exposure 5; PhotoScape; and FotoSketcher.  I would suggest PhotoScape as it's fairly flexible and free.

Most importantly, I use Chief Architect Premier to ray trace my camera views.  It's just a world of difference switching from the HD series of software to CA Premier.

Seriously, check your ambient light color in RT.  Make sure it is either bright white, black, or some shade of blue gray (as opposed to red gray).  Also check other light sources to remove any yellow lights.  It is NOT your paint/material/texture color as that would reflect in standard camera and vector views.

user files yes (*.plan, *.layout), applications files no.

I use OneDrive (formerly SkyDrive) and Adobe's Creative Cloud for personal cloud storage.  OneDrive, DropBox, etc. are good for what they're designed to do, make user files accessible from multiple devices and limited function file sharing.  I would not place any systems or application files on services of this ilk.

I would suggest consulting with Amazon Web Services, as a lower cost option, if you're serious about off loading application files and functionality.  But--and this is a big but--then you run into licensing issues with CA. 

Either that or just buy a Samsung EVO 1TB SSD and be happy, happy.

Dennis, I completely agree.  Glass walls need to butt join, not inset through wall materials.

As to the OP; make sure you haven't applied wall materials in the room dbx (reset to default if you have), but in the individual wall dialogs.  Or, what Perry suggests, use wall materials tool.

Joe, maybe you're thinking of "suggestions" in Architectural Graphic Standards.  If I recall, they recommended 26" or 28" as the minimum depth for a clothes closet.  I use 28"

Toto only supplies *.rfa models, which are Revit native and not importable to CA.  Try searching Trimble 3D Warehouse for an skp or dae file of the fixture you're looking for.  You my also ask somebody here to open the rfa file in 3ds Max and export as 3ds or obj for import to CA.

Material Regions?  I prefer wall, floor, custom backsplash, or generic material regions.  No messing with plines, slabs, or invisible walls/room dividers.
