Question; How do I get or download all of the "plant images" that I need to allow me to select from when I am in the plant chooser in the terrain module of the CA X10 software? Do these all need to be downloaded from the website as library or calib. files?

Ok guys, no worries. this one of the bathroom shower wasn’t actually a rendering, but was an after design photo that was taken by the professional who was working on the job.

I can help you remotely as I reside here in SW Florida, but, have extensive experience in Asbuilting and designing on CA X8 - X10, and can also get high quality 3D renders from an outside source done and perfected on Lumion software as well. Hi; This is a discussion, to try and explore what the best options are for trying to master the 3D Rendering and Perspective views, outside of using the Chief X10 PBR, and other rendering options within the Chief software? As I feel that the current version of the software doesn't compare to the other rendering engines that are out there now. There are several choices, Lumion 6 or 7, which is both expensive, but easier to learn from what I hear at least. Most designers are using this one now....? Other options, might be to export the 3D views from Chief into Sketchup and use the 3D Rendering options there using the Vray engine to create the 3D photorealistic views and renderings? Autocad 3d Max, is another option, but runs with Vray, and is harder to learn from what I hear as well? Please let me know your thoughts here, as well as what you're finding to work the best and easiest on a faster machine, with a lightning fast Video card and processor. Please see the sample renderings that Sam Vitone does for me now on Lumion. Note: This is all except the bathroom, as it is a real life photo taken after construction of a remodel....

Hello Folks, Trying to get these areas of my roof and rear pation spa built correctly here now. Please see the attached photos, and respond with any other questions that you may have? The only roof section that I can think of interfering with the wall above in the attic has to be the simple hip roof above it. maybe if I go and delete that part of the roof and then rebuild it, the problem will resolve itself. What do you think?

Hey Guys, gals; I am having some difficulties getting this outer second floor wall (below) and the attic wall above to align up properly here? I am working in Chief X9, on this project, please see the photos below(attached), and if you would be so kind, give me your solutions to this problem? Hi guys; I’m trying to join two roofs here as you can see in the photos attached. the top main roof is a standard hip style, 3.5/12 Roof pitch, and the turret roofs are all on a 5/12 Roof pitch. So then, how do I blend these two different roof styles together, both at different pitches, so that they blend and will look right please? thx, DCB
