The crawl space is existing. The slab is new.
I am not sure what you are suggesting.
Very common occurrence out here.
My mistake I thought it was the other way around. Just dealt with the same issue, existing mono slab with a crawlspace addition, it made no sense to have a crawlspace so we changed it to slab on-grade.

In a situation like this, I wouldn't "abut" crawl space to mono slab, I would do slab on grade matching existing floor.

It looks like something is off, your rim-joist looks like is offset from the plate. Post a plan, it would help to see what's going on.

Go to window defaults and select change To Sheathing Layer ... Your default is set To Main Layer
Doors you need to change swing side, you cannot open doors over the stair at least not in the US.

My neighbor was collecting water off his roof for years. He was filling his barrels from months when there was no rainfall but enough moisture from the dewpoint condensation to refill after he had watered his plants.
I see some people bring the water inside, not sure what the do with it, especially now since all the snow starting to melt.

might not be worth it for children under 6
Dave I see more and more of them popping up in the neighborhood, did that on a few designs for some homeowners using similar or a round barrel to collect rain water, nobody asked about the flower bed in it yet but if someone asks will give them an idea.
I don't care what they say Dave, you OK in my book :-)

i believe it is hardcode to a min cantilever of 12 or 16" (to center of beam) from my previous experimentation
It could be in Canada, in US maximum allowable overhang cannot exceed 1/4 of the actual main joist span.

Joe, I couldn't agree with you more...Some people have poor or no taste at all.

I use to use Acrobat Pro but switched to Bluebeam Revu 20 so much better and you can do anything you want in it with existing PDF files as changes or adjustments go, etc or create new PDF's files from scratch as copy and paste goes.

I couldn't agree with you more...I been using 3dconnexion mouse for about 10 yrs or so give or take and doing modeling in sketchup and CA is a snap especially when it comes to larger size models.
