Could someone take a look and see if it is ticket worthy or if it is on my side of things? (In x16. x17 is fine)
Thanks
I am finding that the altered aspect ratio of an imported image is not retained when dbx is reopened.
Rather keep adjusted values, Aspect Ratio reverts to original.
Attached are 3 screen clips of dbx values in each step and plan file.
Steps to reproduce (RAR below refers to Retain Aspect Ratio value) Step 1: import image. open dbx
import jpeg or png (other file types not tested)
Note original values for width, height and RAR in dbx
Step 2: resize
Uncheck RAR
Alter value of either width OR height (only one)
Tab or click in another dbx cell so adjusted values populate and can be noted.
Note values for width, height and the RAR
click OK to close dbx
Step 3: Reopen imported image dbx
Results:
Upon opening dbx note the altered Width and RAR values.
(RAR box will be checked. This is correct behavior per user manual)
Question:
Why does ratio revert to original and the resized ratio value not maintained when dbx is opened?
Observations:
Height seems to be the driving value for reverting values using the original ratio.
if height is adjusted... width value increases to meet height at original ratio.
if width is adjusted ... width value decreases to meet height at original ratio.
