how to keep CAD block from changing when changing fixture

Hi @mtldesigns, thank you, that is a good solution and a feature I wasn't aware of. I am still curious if there's a way to maintain the CAD block but this is great! -
Hello friends, I want to use the "Art Light" in the library, and increase it to 24" wide but I don't want the cad block to change. It there a way to change the fixture, but not alter the original 2D cad block in the process? Thanks!

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has a good solution for creating wall decals. I managed to get a half decent result with creating a new material with an image than applying that material to a wall material region. But I'd like something that I can manipulate more easily and not have a background. I want to put a decal on my doors and can't figure out how I would do that. Here's some images of what I'm trying to achieve:

This is great! Can you provide any further information on how to do this? -

Hi friends, I'm working on my first walkthrough and have two issues. One, the speed of the camera slows down when it turns then speeds up afterwards to catch up. All my cameras on the walkthrough are set to 1ft/sec. Two, the lights are flickering really badly. Here's a google link to the video. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1w8EF8_if_1B0wXyIJ7atP8CqwwGNvnRt/view?usp=drive_link

Hello friends, Does anyone know if CA has a ledgestone that isn't just a picture on a flat surface? I want to get the real texture of stone. This is the exact stone I'd like to have in my renderings. Any advise on getting this looking realistic in CA?

$90.30! Well that's not happening

Hello friends, I was just watching a CA video on new features in X16 and saw these beautiful car models. I don't see these available on the CA website. Where can I get these?

Sounds good, thanks DBCooper.

I found a solution! I turned off "use sunlight" and increased "nighttime ambient" in the "define" rendering technique option, which lightened the image and there's now no flare and the image is appropriately illuminated.

Thank you for your suggestion Eric, I genuinely appreciate it. Unfortunately this option isn't ideal for me because I'm trying to keep the elevation to scale. I'm also trying to avoid additional steps of exporting and importing again if possible as I do tons of interior elevations and to do this with everyone that has a flare in it would be very time consuming.

I checked the pot lights in the ceiling and they do say -90 but they're on a sloped ceiling so I'm not sure if it's the correct angel. I'm also realizing I didn't respond well before. The flare does alter or disappear with a sun adjustment, making it seem it is a sun issue, but when playing with all the adjustments, if I get rid of the flare, I have a very poorly lit elevation. Here's what I mean:
