  1. If I am drawing a frame house and need to the know the 3 angles, do I do so an in an elevation, or how do I go about this?  Also, how do you slice the view to look inside, without deleting the walls?

  2. I drew a set of stairs to a second floor, created a hole in the ceiling/floor, however I can't get them to display on the second floor detail.

    Thanks,

  3. I'm learning how to draft A Frames, a few questions, and I'm sure I'll have more, after constructing the walls/roof, at 20'12. how do you create a second floor, how do you push the front face inwards as to create a front overhang, and if I wanted a balcony off the second floor, how do you create an opening in down sloping roof, as to create a door.

    Thanks, in advanced,

    Michael

  4. I got an update on the plan and they wanted the front wall out another 8'.  So, I had to move the roof plane/porch you created out 8' as well.  Everything looks good except the gable goes through ceiling in the front bedroom. I tried messing with the pitch and top height and that didn't work...

  5. When I open my plan file projectone1.1 this opens as a plan in the Project Brower.  However, when I open the layout, it adds another plan to the Project Browser called projectone1.plan.

Thus I have two plans open, and the window and door labels have two label - One for each plan, is there a way to consolidate or what's happening here.

  7. As you can see, I have a house with lean tos on both sides, I've managed to produce some sort of ceiling on the leans tos, and the gentleman I'm working for wants a flat ceiling, under the pitched roof, 10' high ceilings.  If you know how to go about this let me know.  I can post reference files if needed.
