Please forget the section of the rafter with rope light

Actually i want this, but i know the way i am doing is not a professional one, that is why i shared this problem. Achieving the result is not a problem but achieving professionally was my goal. I wanted to cut the rafters automatically, rather then manually Ceiling_design.plan

Proposed rafter design i want to use "2"x 4or5"as per site

Thanks for reply but how to control the changing sizes of the beams, does it has to be done manually or any other way?

Dear Friends Hope you all are doing well in this crucial times. I was trying to make a ceiling as shown in this picture but with little difference, Normally it is easy (as many tutorial with reference to Chief architect on you tube and on chief architect help videos) but what i want to achieve seems tricky with me. In my design the rafter are not touching the roof, the roof is painted with sky backdrop, and the rafter has rope light on its upper side. i have attached a sample plan. Can anyone guide me through. secondly the approach i have opted does not join well at the end. Is there an automated solution wherein i can control the size of the rafter along with intermediate spacing.? Ceiling design.plan

Hi friends I want to draw a door to a strong room which has 2 single shutters, one opening inside of the room and second out side to the room. the wall is 12"thick. How i can achieve this? thanks Salahuddin

Thank you for understanding I actually want that the doors of the rooms should open outside however the door frame should not be visible from inside as i intend to put wall paneling on the interior wall of the walls and want to merge the door in that paneling. As far as 3D is concerned it is no problem but in plan view if i show the door opening outside the door frame is visible in the 3D view from inside. I hope i have made my point clear. Hi there I have seen this walkthrough, can any one advise how to remove the jerks in the video. what could be the minimum basic setting to remove these jerks and have a smooth walkthrough. Secondly why we cannot get the quality of walkthrough as it is shown in sample video of uploaded by chief architect.????

Thank you, I read the thread, however prior to that I converted that rope light to symbol and from there rotated it vertically but unfortunately afterward I could not change the light properties, can that be done?

Hi friends I am trying to get vertical rope light but could not achieve the results, on the roof it is workable but on wall it is not happening, I tried to draw line in elevation and convert to rope light which is dimmed. can any one help I am attaching sample pictures

Hi friends I have been trying to draw U shape stair with 11 treads on each flight using Ushape tool in stair dialogue to a 3 story building. My problem is that I cant create stairwell, I can't change the width of the stair and landing. there are many videos on this website but non is helping my this problem, even on you YouTube I can't find, maybe my search string is wrong in this.
