  1. Good day, In the Master Bedroom, Living Room and Upper Stairwell are some UPPER windows which will not pull the 'Room Name' from which they are located onto the Window Schedule. I know this may be a minor item, however sometime a little bit more information can be helpful. It looks like this space is referred to as 'Attic' in the Bedroom and Living. For the Stairwell Windows, that wall - under the Wall Specification/General Tab, it lists no selection for any wall type (Foundation, Railing, Terrain, Attic) Here is one example image Is there a proper way to do this? (other than comments) Thanks!
  2. SOLVED - Comments Only under 'Object Information' from the door dialog. Which will then show up on Schedule Only, no other notations elsewhere.
  3. I can not find any area within the door dialog for each door, the opportunity to specify if an interior door can be noted as Solid Core, and not All Interior Doors. Hmmmm. Can this be noted only on the Schedule under Comments? Thank you -
  4. Hello Jacob, Thank you for the details and attachment. I appreciate your time in sharing for the best clarification, and further info for me to follow up on. ** Is there a way to add a sill through the Window Dialog which is full wall depth (excluding window frame) and in doing so, also by adding to the depth amount to create a slight overhang? I don't believe there is a way to do that - I've been adding my own independently. Thank you!!
  5. Thank you Gene, I will follow your suggestion on your thread. I appreciate your details and explanation, easy to understand - good job!
  6. Good day, I can not find any conversation regarding exactly what I need to accomplish (unless I missed it or did not understand the application). I am needing to set the vinyl windows into their openings and have the window extend beyond the siding - Slightly. They are currently set to : OPTIONS>Recessed into Wall>Recessed>To Sheathing Layer (I've tried switching to Main Layer - no effect) No Casing, No Lintel, No Sill Sash at 1.5">Depth 1.5">Inset was Changed to -5" and it moved the window more to exterior, but will not move further to exterior. Frame>NO Frame as it is Drywall Wrap Interior Is there another setting or option to accomplish this task? To remove the siding wrapping back to the window. Thank you -
  7. Also forgot to mention all floors have the same ceiling height of 108"
  8. Good day, This is a work in progress.... The client would like to have the main floor roof to be one continuous shed roof single plain. All slanting to the front of home (low side to front - high to back) It appears as though since Chief created this as a multi-plain, it can not convert to a single roof plain (I'm guessing) Maybe this will need to be done manually? And then there are areas where a break will need to be done to pull back slightly. Thanks in advance! Sweeping View - Plan Only.zip
  9. Hello Gene, Thank you for taking the time to go through the details in how to accomplish in this manner - good job. Very Helpful!
  10. Good day, I've created a custom backsplash on a kitchen wall, and on the opposite wall in the laundry, it displays the outline from the kitchen backsplash. And visa versa for the kitchen side. Any suggestions to alleviate the 'blead through' would be highly helpful. =========== Also - does anyone know why subway tile backsplash is off on alignment? For example 3x8 tile stacked is approximately 6+/- inches. Why does Chief want to split the upper and lower then leave a full tile in the center. I've tried manually adjusting via different views to no avail. Thanks for the assistance in advance -
  11. Hey Robert -Awesome! Thank you. There are so many things to find and sometimes you need the proper words to search. This will come in handy. Have a great day! - Drew
  12. Thanks DB for the great idea, I did not try that. Also, John exceptional design! Good job. I've seen the chrome or steel 'buttons or caps' for glass before. Are those tucked away somewhere within Chief's library? Or did you make those? I could implement something like that if you could share where you found them. Thanks!!
  13. Good day all, Trying to figure out the best way to place a ceiling into a closet below some stairs. The owners would like the same stair system as the other floors, however I can't seem to figure the sloped ceiling for the closet below. It's probably an easy setting somewhere I'm just overlooking - hmmm. Thanks for the assistance in advance. - Drew
  14. Thank you Robert, Been busy with other items and not sure how I missed your info - Thank You. I'll revisit those areas and implement your suggestion, as it looks like it worked for you just fine. And I'll apply tile as well to the upper portion of Exterior Wall with a Window inserted. Thanks again - Drew
  15. Thanks Glen!! Of course - I knew it was too easy.... - Drew
  16. Good day, This covered parking was done by creating Railing and Deck/Straight Deck. We would like to add say a 24" section of exterior wall covering from the top beam down. Tried some options - however no success. I suspect there is a proper way to do this?.......... Thank you - Drew
  17. Thank you so much! That looks pretty easy. I was just not using the proper search terms as well as not knowing the direction of search. Good job rgardner and Kbird1 (Mick). Great information! Thanks again - Drew
  18. Good day, Has anyone applied a ramp sink (sloped sink) to any of their Chief designs? If so, where did you find it from a library if there is one? Here are few Undermount photos. We have a company here in Bend Oregon (Cement Elegance) which manufactures counter and sink as one integrated unit, which is fine. I happen to be looking in the undermount direction at this time, not the integrated as one. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you - Drew
  19. Good day, I am needing to place a 2x4 partial wall (pony wall) over a portion of the 2x6 Exterior Wall. For Example: The 2x4 Pony Wall will join the 2x6 Exterior wall - stud to stud. As seen in the images, the Pony Wall will be 64" high, and have a niche within that wall. Tile will not apply properly to the 2x6 exterior portion on the interior side. So I am having some issues with creating the proper application so all walls looks and flow together. Thanks for the insight to build this proper - Drew
  20. Thank you Kbird1, Sorry for the delay - thanks so much for the info - very helpful! - Drew
