    Hello,

     

    Thank you for the question.  The Room Planner app was discontinued a couple of years ago and is no longer available for purchase.  We do have a mobile app for viewing plans called the Chief Architect 3D Viewer.  This app allows you to explore the model in 3D, but you can't edit the plan (add walls, change colors, etc.).  The 3D Viewer app is compatible with mobile devices.

     

    I see you already own Home Designer Pro.  If you need a lower cost program for the field, other users or for your customers where they can design and edit plans, you can consider something like our Home Designer Suite or Architectural.

    Thank you for the question.  If it is a valid and transferable X10 you can upgrade it after it has been transferred into your name and the transfer fee has been paid.  You will find current upgrade pricing on our website here, Upgrade and Renewal Options | Chief Architect  If you are shopping at discount software sites selling Chief Architect online, they are all selling unauthorized copies of the software.

    Chief Architect holds a monthly design contest every year. There are 3 categories: Kitchen/Bath and Interiors, Residential, and Remodel/Additions. Each monthly winner is entered into the Design of the Year Contest and our Facebook community votes for their favorite.

    ChiefTalk account holders are welcome to post to the Gallery! Any images you post should be relevant to Chief Architect and/or this forum, and its topics. Inappropriate, irrelevant images, or content that you do not have permission to share, are subject to removal by moderators.

     

    The Gallery is a great place to showcase your work and even do a little self promotion of your projects and skills using Chief Architect. You will find that you are able to create multiple albums and sub albums to organize your images.

     

    If you add captions using Rich Text formatting, you can include hyperlinks to other resources.

     

    Occasionally, Chief Architect's social team will re-share images from the Gallery to our Social channels (like Facebook and Instagram) make sure to provide any information we can include to give your work the credit it deserves (website, social handles, etc)! This is a great way to build your audience.

    Greetings!

     

    During this holiday season, I would like to personally take the time to thank you as a Chief Architect customer, and wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas, a Wonderful Holiday Season, and Happy New Year.

     

    In 2022, Chief Architect will be hosting several new events online and in-person – we look forward to meeting with our customers again soon!  Our first event in the new year will be a user reception on Feb. 9 in Orlando where we will showcase some great new products that we’ve been working on. Our Chief Academy (User Group Meeting + Training) will be hosted in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho Aug. 31 – Sept. 2. This is a marquee event, and I hope that you can plan to make it. This will be a special year for all of us as Chief Architect turns 30 years old this coming summer!
