Hello, I've been trying to find the polyline union tool in X11. The only place I could find it is when I assigned a hot key to it. The hot key doesn't work. Did this feature get removed from X11 or is it hidden somewhere. Just spent an unproductive hour trying to solve this. Thanks

I've, well, my Engineer has dealt with the wet signature issue with several jurisdictions. What he found was that according to the Professional Code, electronic signatures must be accepted. Unless, the jurisdiction had codified the requirement for wet signatures. I can get access to the reference in the professional code if anyone needs it. A couple jurisdictions were adamant about the wet signature requirement until, we shared the reference in the professional code. They had no choice but to capitulate.

Guys, Thanks for the replies. The vents I used are custom, and I didn't find any in the library that would fit the geometry. Newbie question here, Plot Lines? Not sure what those are and how they differ from normal lines. Please explain. Thanks again!!

I used live for the layout. On the elevation, I simply made the polygon and then put in a fill. The image looks good in CA, but goobers up in PDF. Guess, I could make the attic wall a pony wall, and apply different materials there.

Working on my first project in Chief. The attached PDF is a screen shot showing part of a PDF created in Chief and the layout page that the PDF was derived from. In the drawing I drew the triangles in the gable to represent louvered gable end vents. In the drawing, they are fine, but in the PDF, the triangles are shifted a couple inches. All, I've been wrestling with this crazy truss situation all afternoon. It seems like CA wants to drop a truss web to a lower level if there is a roof below. Tried editing the truss in the CAD Detail Management window. The truss does change, but if it is moves it reverts back to crazyness. See attached PDF of s screen shot. Called tech support, but wasn't able to clearly explain what was going on. Ideas? Thanks in advance CA crazy truss.pdf
